Section 8 Rental Assistance.

The Rental Assistance Program is a Federally-funded program through Housing & Urban Development (HUD) also called Section 8.  This program helps with paying a portion of rent for low-income families and individuals that meet Federal Income Limits which are linked at the right under 2021 Income Limits.  If you think that you fall below the Income Limits and live in or want to move to the City of Salamanca, you can complete an application which is also linked at the right under Section 8 Preliminary Application.  If you have any questions, call Shayla Adamic at 716-945-3171.  The current waiting list period until you or your family could receive assistance is one month to two months.  For any additional information regarding the Rental Assistance Program you may go to www.hud.gov.
